{Project 356} Day 26

The first Tuesday of each month is BINGO night and it was my turn to host. The theme was {Love} My Organized Home (hmmm....I wonder where I heard that phrase before? Maybe FreshCrops????). We had a great time chatting, laughing, eating yummy munchies and of course playing for prizes that will help to organize all that clutter in our homes. I am happy to say that I have already put my utensil drawer organizer to work and found a missing spatula in the process...

{Project 356} Day 25

I think I need to play the lottery. I was preparing some food for Bingo tomorrow night and one of the recipes I was making called for 4 eggs. So I crack one egg into the bowl. No big deal. I crack another egg into the bowl. Again, no biggie. Then I crack egg #3 and there were 2 yolks. Which really wasn't a big deal either, as it has happened to me before. But then I cracked another and there were double yolks again! I Googled the superstition behind it and have found a whole slew of different meanings-everything from an impending marriage, to the birth of twins to a death in the family to a long and prosperous life. I am an optimist and will think positively about these yolks!

{Project 356} Day 24

Super Sunday! It was pretty low-key for us. Dustin and his girlfriend, Becca, came down from George Mason to watch the game. It was fun having them visit! I made Buffalo Chicken Dip and some yummy cheese steak sandwiches. 

{Project 356} Day 23

Today I went to one of the best grocery stores ever-Wegmans. Now many of you may not have heard of Wegmans before as it is only found in a handful of states on the east coast, which is too bad. You may think I am totally off my rocker, speaking so amorously about a grocery store, but it is a truly unique grocery shopping experience. Sure they have the traditional aisle of cereal, soups and all that, but what makes this place stand out from the rest are their speciality departments. A Sushi Bar, A Wokery, Pizza Shop a Seafood Bar, Market Cafe and more. People actually come here to eat a meal, as there are chefs on hand to cook for you. Here is a link to there photo gallery. Anyways, Wegmans is the only place in Virginia that sells Ryley's drink of choice-Cheerwine. He first drank this while on vacation several years ago in Sunset Beach, NC. Each time we would travel through NC, we would have to stock up on this. It's kind of a cross between Cherry Coke and Dr. Pepper. 

I love the retro-looking design on the can!
