{Project 356} April 21

Fresh Crops is hosting their 2-day crop this weekend and I wanted to share the latest kit that will be released! It is {Love} My Organized Birthday Cards-the 3rd in our organizational series of project kits. Many of our customers are card makers and make birthday cards in mass and wanted something to organize them in. I created this album made from envelopes to keep everything organized. {Project 356} April 9–16

Spring Break 2009! We headed south to Hudson, Florida to visit Chris' mom and step-father. They have two condos on the Gulf of Mexico and have spent many spring vacations there! Dustin's spring break from GMU didn't match with Ryley's (Dustin drove down a few weeks earlier with his girlfriend and stayed with grandma & grandpa), so we let Ryley invite a friend (Cameron) to come along. It was perfect. It turned out that their one bedroom condo wasn't being rented that week and Jeanne and John were sweet to let Ry ad Cam stay there. It was perfect! They had a blast! It is so nice to vacation with teenagers! 

Hudson, Florida is a little north of St. Pete Beach, right on the Gulf. There is a lots of waterfront property along canals that lead into the Gulf. It turns out that back in the 1920s Hudson used to be the Hollywood during the silent movie era, with many stars of during that period owning homes along the canals. Chris and I love to kayak up and down the canals looking at the small bungalows with boats that are bigger than the house its dock leads too! One day we will be living down there! 

The condo complex has a beautiful pool, where we spent a lot of time soaking up the sun. We also went to St. Pete Beach for some surf time too! Gram and Gramp were great and treated the boys to a day at Busch Gardens (of course the boys took off by themselves while Jeanne and John enjoyed the shows).While they were riding the coasters, Chris and I took off to Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks. Tarpon Springs is a Greek community with tons of Greek restaurants and shops. I love it there!

I was a bummed that Jill (my BF from high school) and I couldn't get together this time (she lives in Tampa and was traveling for work that week). But I am sure we'll see each other next year!

We had to cut our trip a little short this year because Chris had to be back to catch a plane to Germany. It was a great trip though and I can't wait to go back again!

{Project 356} March 31

Whoops! Forgot to blog about my other nieces and nephews in Ohio-the canine ones. Two Jack Russells-Rogue and Hawkeye; One Yorkshire Terrier-Isabella; and one hideous mix-Blue. Keep scrolling down to see the picture of this dog. I swear he is not Photoshopped. Is he not the strangest dog you have ever seen?

{Project 356} March 23-30

My mom had hip replacement surgery on the 19th and is recovering at my sister's home in Ohio. I drove up there to do what I can to help out with things because in addition to my mom recovering at her home, Kristen has a 7-year-old and an 8-month-old, too!  Although I didn't take any pics of mom (I don't think she would have appreciated that) I took tons of pics of my Olivia and Jonas. I also had the chance to visit my twin nephews Jack and Sam and as well as my nephews Tyler and Justin (there is a lot of testosterone in the Sill family). Aren't they adorable???? I took over 600 pics last week! I love photography!

{Project 356} March 20 & 21

Fresh Crops was extremely successful at the "Preserve Your Journey" Crop at Salem Baptist Church this weekend! We met so many fantastic people, sold tons of kits and had several sign-up for our National Scrapbook Day Crop on May 15-16. We love this job! We can't wait to do it again next year!

{Project 356} March 19

I went to the grocery store the other day and the fruit looked so good that I couldn't help but fill my cart with some! I made this yummy fruit salad to munch on during the day. Hmmm.....I think I will take some for Patti and I to enjoy while we are at the crop tomorrow...

It's been rainy over the past several days and Chris decided to pull out a puzzle of Sunset Beach to remind of us the sunny days ahead. He and I almost finished it, but then Ryley, Dustin and Becca took it upon themselves to put the final touches on it!

Tonight was Ryley's first Varsity Lacrosse game. They won against rival Mountain View! Go Forge!

For weeks now Patti and I have been prepping for the "Preserve Your Journey" crop that we are going to be vending at on March 20-21. I needed help in cutting all of the pieces from the Cricut machine for the Coupon Book and packaging the kits. Patti and our friend Missy came over to assist! Thank God! It was a lot of work. We ran 2 Cricut machines for several hours and still didn't get it all done! We had fun though! Hardly felt like work at all!
