This evening Chris and I attended a reception for the Foreign Naval Attache community of Washington, DC. The reception was held at the Women's War Memorial located in Arlington National Cemetery. Afterwards, all the guests were taken to the Marine Corps Memorial to watch the Sunset Parade where the Silent Drill Platoon performed their first Tuesday Sunset Parade of the season. If you ever have the chance to see the Sunset Parade, jump at it! It is an unbelievable performance that demonstrates the hard work and dedication these young Marines have for the Corps. We have seen it several times at the Memorial as well as at 8th & I (Home of The Commandant). I get chills every time I see it! It is amazing!
