As mentioned before in one of my posts, I have a "bucket list" of crafty projects that I have been wanting to do for years–especially holiday projects. I know I will not get them complete this upcoming holiday season, but there is one that I was determined to get done and share with you: "My Holiday Planner." It has been in the back of my mind for over 2 years now, just waiting for the right time and right inspiration in order for it to come to reality. The time was now and the inspiration? Chevrons. They are everywhere. From wallpaper to clothing to home decor, you can't get away from them. I love their clean look and the wide variety of color combinations you can create with them. I thought they would give My Holiday Planner just the clean, modern look I was hoping for.
Now this planner isn't something brand new for me. When I was designing projects for Fresh Crops, I did something similar using digital templates I created, along with other traditional scrapbook products. It was a smaller album (8x8), but this time I wanted something bigger and the We R Memory Keepers 8.5x11" albums and protectors are perfect for this Holiday Planner.
I love this project so much that I am giving it away to you for FREE! For this weekend only, "My Holiday Planner" will be available as a free download for you so you can start organizing your way to a stress-free holiday season. The kit includes ten 8.5x11 chevron papers (so you can choose how you want your Planner to look), Album Spine Label, Title Tag, "Property Of:" Tag, Divider Title Tags, Calendar Markers, Calendar pages (Nov 2011-Jan2012), Address Book Page, and Wish Lists/Gift List Pages. (The layered .psd files for the calendar pages and address book pages will be available for purchase at a later date.) There is a lot of stuff here! The download link is at the end of the post. It may take a while to download, so please be patient! Enjoy!
Pretty cute so far, huh? The photos below show how the inside sections look:
