I am soooo late in starting my holiday baking, but as the saying goes, better late than never!
The photo of the "Christmas Cookies" label is from the cover of my family Christmas Cookie Cookbook that I made a few years back for ourselves and as gifts for our family and friends.
When Chris and I went to London back in October, the storefront of Fortnum and Mason caught my eye and I knew I just had to stop in. I instantly fell in love with the store and cute apron and bakers hat. I just love my husband. He is so sweet surprised me with this little ensemble as we were leaving the store. So for weeks now he's been asking why I wasn't wearing it while cooking. I told him I don't want to get it stained and it will be my official baking apron and hat. I figure that flour, sugar and cocoa powder is easier to get out than spaghetti sauce!
Aren't the little checklists in the photo below adorable? They were on one of the 6x6 sheets of paper included in the December Daily Kit from Studio Calico. The little asterisk embellies are from Thickers.
