Before I get into this week's layout, I just want to let everyone know that if you have not yet downloaded the 2013 Word Art Titles that I created to coordinate with the Seafoam edition of Project Life, you have until this Thursday to do so. On Friday, February 1, they will no longer be available for free and will be in my shoppe for purchase. You can download them from this post for free until then! On to Week Four:
Below is my Week Four layout. I used a 6x12 page protector as an insert this week due to the extra photos and journaling.
I saw the photo below in a post on Facebook and found it extremely appropriate for the journaling I included on the card underneath. I'm saving the content of that journaling for a post on Friday. You'll have to check back then to see what is below! I wish I knew who made the washi tape I used to attach the photo to the journal card, but the company is not labeled on the roll anywhere!
This little page tab in the photo below came in one of my Cocoa Daisy Kits and is by Shopevalicious.com.
I had several Instagram photos this week and wanted to include them in my spread this week. With a week full of fun packages from mom, relaxing photos on display at the yoga studio and social events, there was a lot to take pictures of. I really love my Epson R1900 Photo Printer. So grateful it prints in large format!
On Saturday night Chris and I attended our first Burns Supper with several friends. The dinner was hosted by the British Embassy and is a celebration of the life and poetry of Robert (Rabbie) Burns. Not sure what happens at a Burns Supper? Check out this website and you will become well-educated! I used the information of this site to help with the journaling on the 6x12 page. We had a great time toasting to the Lads & Lassies, enjoying great food (we even tried the Haggis) & whisky and learning a few traditional Scottish dances! I love this diplomatic lifestyle and learning about traditions from other countries!
I am loving Project Life. I am so grateful to Becky Higgins for creating this simple way of displaying photos and documenting the stories behind them. If you want to learn more about Project Life, click here to read more about it on Becky's website. Be sure to watch the short video, too!
My Project Life pages are also being linked up at TheMomCreative. Jessica Turner, owner, has graciously provided a place for Project Life enthusiasts to link and share their pages. Check out her blog for some great inspiration!
