Over the past few days I've had several readers ask if I was going to release the Word Art Circles that I did in 2012 for the Clementine and Cobalt Core Collections without the dates on them. I have no plans to do so, BUT I have put a tutorial together explaining how you can change the png's in Photoshop! Let's begin:
Open one of the files that you downloaded last year. I am working on Week 3:
Create a new layer. Using the Rectangular Marquee Tool, make a selection around the date like this:
Make sure you have white selected as the foreground color. Using the Paint Bucket Tool, fill your selection with white. Then deselect to get rid of the "marching ants." Merge the two layers together. Your circle should now look like this:
Make a text box. The font I used is Century Gothic and is set at 6pt. The color is #868384. Type in your dates and you're done!
